Comic Con Amsterdam Lisa's Story
Hey Guys, I am back from my summer break. Re-energized and ready for the cons.
And it was finally Comic Con Amsterdam time!
Right before the con even started, I heard that 5 guests could not attend the con, what a shame.
But oh well, there are plenty more guests to meet.
When I walked in, I was a little shocked. The whole con could fit in just one hall.
Also, the atmosphere was different. It felt kind of empty. It was very strange.
Even with an empty hall, the guests were surprisingly hard to find.
Did they have a little get together?? Ha, ha luckily I found Kim Hartmann. And she was every inch as lovely to meet like I was told.
After Kim Hartman signed my photo, my phone rang in my way too big bag. When I finally found it, a friend asked me to join him at the info booth.
Once arrived, he asked if I could help out with identifying the autographed & special items for the silent auction. This was so much fun to do.
Later that day I surprisingly heard that some of the awesome items were won for only just 3 euro's or less, unbelievable. How lucky you can be.
Identifying al the items made me hungry, so, I walked to the food arena, thinking about what to eat.
Everything smelled so good. When almost at the door, I smelled the delicious scent of fries. And on this sunny Saturday, I decided to enjoy my lunch outside.
While eating my lunch in the sun, I saw something white sneaking up on me. It was a Lightfury cosplayer (from the movie How to train your dragon 3). So cute!! He or she gave me a very quick kiss on the cheek and ran away. This made my day.
After lunch, I'm running back inside to meet one of the few, if not the only, Dutch stormtrooper Dickey Beer! Such a great guy.
Getting all my autographs, I decided to go home. There was nothing left to do.
It was as you know, not a big con. Just one hall!
So driving back home I was overjoyed thinking that the next con will be FACTS. Yeah, one of my favorite.
Finally, I will get my Neville Longbottom funko signed by Mathew Lewis.
If games are your thing, FACTS has a very special guest. It is Jonny Cruz! He is the voice of Lucio in Overwatch.
